Message from the Dean

Welcome to the College of Teacher Education Department!

Here is the department where you will be treated as member of the family, try and explore new things, meet lots of acquaintances and hone your strengths as future teachers. It is academically preparing you not just to be a mentor but a dedicated, responsible and committed teacher with a heart and head that cares. You will be under the tutelage of professional, capable and competent faculty members who can hone your teaching expertise to the utmost.

As CTE students, you will have lots of opportunities to experience in the world of teaching. From the Dean to the faculty members, you know where to go for help to enable you to finish your teaching career and even beyond.

Students and faculty members take pride in being a member of the CTE Department. Rest assure you are in good hands!

This department was formerly attached to the College of Business Administration known as CEBA.

SY 1947-1948, start an increase in the student population with 150 high school students enrolled as teacher education freshmen. A member of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation, Inc. an organization governed by high standards and excellence; the department maintains a continuous program of faculty & student improvement even in line with research and co-curricular activities. Since it was among the first course for teacher training in this institution, it has become the Alma Mater of the great bulk of prominent educators, qualified and competent teachers in the city, provincial division and neighboring provinces of Quezon, Cavite, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro and as far as Romblon etc.
